In June I walked with the MaxMobile at the Pride Parade. I decided to participate for a number of reasons. One, I didn't have any other plans and wanted to check out Pride without being the loser by myself. Two, I wanted to support those in my life who don't have all the rights that I do as a straight person. Three, I always like spending time with adoptable dogs. I was going to post photos taken at the event, but didn't want to infringe on any copyrights, so check out this link to view some photos. However, here is a photo of a really cool bike in the parade.
I recently advanced to a Flex Walker at the local humane society. This means I can drop by the humane society at my convenience to walk (and run or hike) adoptable dogs. I thought a blog to remember these outings would be nice, so here it is.

Hour Changes
The humane society's hours changed over the summer, so I can no longer take adoptable dogs out because I do not get back in time. My blog should start again at the end of September with the Walk for the Animals.
